Signs of Demonic Activity
Objects moving by themselves
One of the first signs you may notice of demonic activity in your home is objects moving around on their own. You might hear objects falling down in another room when there’s no one there or even see things moving out of the corner of your eye. Sometimes innocent spirits will move things to get your attention so this is not always a sign of something evil in and off itself.
2. Disembodied voices
If there is a demonic presence in your home you might hear disembodied voices. You can differentiate between whether you’re dealing with a spirit or a demon by the impression the voice leaves you with. If you just feel a little bit unsettled it may just be a spirit. If the voice sounds angry and makes you have a strong reaction it may be more likely to be a demon.
3. The presence makes you feel scared or uncomfortable
If the presence doesn’t make you feel scared or uncomfortable it is probably a peaceful spirit. If the presence makes you feel terrified and triggers your fight or flight response it may be a demon.
4. Feelings of oppression or other negative emotions
Demonic presences can cause unexplained negative emotions. If you are finding yourself feeling inexplicably angry or depressed while noticing any of the other signs of demonic presence it may indicate a negative entity is present.
5. Unexplained Injuries
People who come into contact with demonic entities often claim that they receive injuries, especially bruises and scratches, that they don’t recall happening.
6. Strange Smells
The smell of smoke, sulfur or rotting meat is commonly associated with demonic activity. If you have a strange smell in your house and can’t find the source of it it could be a demon.
7. Extreme Temperature Changes
If a room is suddenly very cold or very hot with no other explanation it could be a sign of demonic activity.
8. Your pets are behaving strangely
If your cat or dog is suddenly very aggressive, scared or seemingly responding to something you can’t see it could be a demon. Pets are known for their extra keen senses and many people believe they are able to see things in other realms that we humans can’t see.
9. Seeing shadows in the corner of your eyes
Seeing shadows or sensing movement in the corner of your eyes but then turning to see nothing is there? It could be that there’s a demon or negative entity in your home.
10. Malfunctioning Electronic Devices
Demons and other negative entities can mess with the functioning of electronic devices. This may be something to do with the energy these entities need to manifest themselves. Some believe they can harness electricity to move throughout our reality.

The first thing you should do is tell the demonic entity it is not welcome. Say something out loud like “Only peaceful presences are welcome in this home. You are not welcome. Go!”
You need to be firm and assert yourself as the owner of the space. If you are religious you might like to invoke the name of your higher power for example “Demon, leave this place in the name of Jesus”.
In our experience the deity you use doesn’t matter as much as your intention. You need to firmly tell the demonic entity to leave and it should leave.
Once you have done this you may like to burn some incense or sage to cleanse the home and fill it with new, positive energy. You could even use a spell to banish negativity.
